What we collect
Nothing on our servers. Brevia does not have any. The app stores the following only on your device. When iCloud sync is enabled and you are signed in, it can sync through your personal iCloud account across iPhone and iPad:
- Your study sessions, streaks, and quiz results
- Bookmarks and the topics you have reviewed
- App preferences, including theme, Reduce Motion, study goal, and sync choice
This data is covered by Apple's iCloud privacy terms and is not accessible to us or anyone else.
What we do not do
- No advertising or ad identifiers.
- No analytics, fingerprinting, or behavioural tracking.
- No selling or sharing of data. There is no data to sell.
- No account or email is required to use the app.
Tips
Brevia is free, with no ads or subscriptions. If you leave an optional tip, Apple's In-App Purchase system processes it. Apple handles the transaction, and we receive only anonymous, aggregate sales totals. Tips never unlock content. We do not see your payment details or identity.
Diagnostics
If you choose to share crash data with Apple in iOS or iPadOS Settings, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash reports to help fix bugs. This is controlled by you in system Settings and contains no personal study data.
Children
Brevia is not directed specifically to children and does not collect personal information from its users.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the last updated date above. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
