Privacy Policy
The short version: Brevia has no accounts, no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. Your study data lives on your device and in your iCloud — we never see it.
What we collect
Nothing on our servers — Brevia doesn’t have any. The app stores the following only on your device, synced through your personal iCloud account:
- Your study sessions, streaks and quiz results
- Bookmarks and which topics you’ve reviewed
- App preferences (theme, text size, Reduce Motion)
This data is covered by Apple’s iCloud privacy terms and is not accessible to us or anyone else.
What we don’t do
- No advertising or ad identifiers.
- No analytics, fingerprinting, or behavioural tracking.
- No selling or sharing of data — there is no data to sell.
- No account or email required to use the app.
Tips & payments
Brevia is free. Optional tips are processed entirely by Apple’s In-App Purchase system; Apple handles the transaction and we receive only anonymous, aggregate sales totals. We never see your payment details.
Diagnostics
If you opt in to share crash data with Apple via iOS/macOS settings, Apple may provide us anonymised crash reports to fix bugs. This is controlled by you in system Settings and contains no personal study data.
Children
Brevia is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
